Hello, we are Paul and Andy Smith. We have been enjoying the culinary scene in San Diego for many years. Friends have told us repeatedly that we should create our own food and wine blog, so here it is! 🙂 San Diego has so much to offer and we hope this blog will help bring some joy to your life!
About Paul: Paul is a chef and graduate of the International Culinary School / Art Institute of California – San Diego. He has worked at several restaurants in San Diego including Kettner Exchange, Waverly, and The Grass Skirt — all under the leadership of Chef Brian Redzikowski. He is also the marketing director for an oral surgeon here in San Diego.
About Andy: Andy has more than 25 years in big corporate America. Now he is doing sales and business development for a retail technology company. Early in his career he worked in fine dining with the Four Seasons Hotel in Las Colinas, TX, and in Washington, DC. He is a wine collector and has studied wine, including with the Court of Master Sommeliers. He is a baking enthusiast and aspiring chocolatier.
